SOFRASER was created in 1972. Its first activity consisted in industrial maintenance operations.
In 1978, SOFRASER creates an industrial viscometers in order to satisfy their clients in combustion optimisation (patented).
In 1981, SOFRASER patents world's first vibrating-type viscometer working at resonance frequency, that is still nowadays the most stable and reliable principle in the world.
Since 1996, SOFRASER holds the Quality system and is certified ISO 9001.
In 2005, design of the first portable viscometer.
In 2006, SOFRASER patents a high sensitivity viscometer.
In 2007, SOFRASER patents a new electronic principle to improve the viscosity measurment.
In 2008, SOFRASER is bought by its General Manager Dr Luc K. Bellière and is now a part of Ana Bell Group.
