Orbis BV, founded in 1998, specializes in production, development and sales of analytical Instruments for the chemical, petrochemical and petroleum industries.
The managing director Mr. P. Bruggeman has more than 30 years of experience in research, development and production of innovative laboratory instruments for the petroleum industry.
Because of this background, the combination of long experience in developing and listening to the ideas of the end-user, he came to the conclusion: “To improve the precision of the results it is not enough to upgrade existing instruments with more software. Only an improvement of the hardware of the basic instrument can lead to better results”.
Out of this “return to basics” philosophy, the “Orbis PAMSTILL“ automatic distillation unit according to ASTM D86 ”, the most prolific instrument in the Orbis line was developed.

Up to 10 distillation programs, comprising temperature/time profiles and volume setpoints, can be stored in the on-board memory. The programs can be created or modified during use via a ‘learn’ feature.
